Frank J. Lineberry Memorial Scholarship

Brothers- as many of you are aware, the Lineberry family has established the Frank J. Lineberry Memorial Scholarship Fund.  

They will award $5,000. annually to a needy freshman or sophomore at Kean. Frank was an educator his whole life. He did his undergrad and graduate degrees at Kean- he also was a professor there and oversaw student teachers after his retirement as Principal in Middletown.  

The Lineberry family thought this would be the best way to honor his memory. Many of you have asked how to contribute. Attached are the steps to be taken to contribute.

To make a donation online:

Go to www.keanfoundation.org

In the “Make a Gift” box, select the amount, or if it is a custom amount simply type in the amount of the gift underneath where it says, “custom amount”.

Click, “Give Today”

That takes you to a page that says, “Every Gift Matters”

Scroll down to where it says, “Designation”

Scroll down the options to “Other”, click it

Type in “Frank J. Lineberry Memorial Scholarship”

Click, “Add Donation”

Billing, payment, and tribute information then comes up and is pretty self-explanatory.

If someone wishes to pay via check, have them make the check out to Kean University Foundation, and write either on the check or on a transmittal note, “Frank J. Lineberry Memorial Scholarship”, and send it to
