Ed Esposito Receives Robert L. Payton Award

Brother Ed Esposito, of Sigma Beta Tau’s Iota pledge class, recently received the Robert L. Payton Award for Voluntary Service, from the Council for the  Advancement and Support of Education.

The Payton Award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates leadership in advancement of programs, furtherance of the philanthropic tradition and public articulation of needs, goals and issues in education.

Ed was honored for his extraordinary volunteer service to Kean’s Alumni Organization over the past 45 years.

Brother Ed Esposito has been a member of the Kean University Alumni Association board since 1970.

He became president in 2005, after having served as treasurer from 1972-2005.  As president of the Alumni Association Board, he also serves as ex-officio for the Kean University Foundation Board.
