Feb. 2026 ROMEO
Does anybody remember singing this song at the Evergreen Lodge, first in the ‘foreign’ language, then the actual words, and finally in silence? The chugging, the spilling of the beer, the thumb taps afterwards. Priceless.

I could still sing it in my sleep- taught to me by our Pledge Master, Greg Young

Sang this many times ... sober and not so sober … sometimes when having a beer still hum it to my self 🍺

Thanks for writing the censored version of the song. I wonder how many BROTHERS do remember the uncensored words other than Greg Young, the Brothers Coyle and C Rich Melvin

Stan, I sure do remember! Always looked over my shoulder to see if my date that night was listening! Maybe get lucky?

That song was synonymous with the Evergreen Lodge. The more beer consumed, the louder we sang! I haven’t thought about that song for a very, very long time, thanks for the posting; good times, great memories!

I remember passing the glasses and sipping a brew if you made a mistake. Good times my brothers

I vaguely remember the song. By the time I pledged it was more legend than anything. I do remember learning the first line but that’s it unfortunately
