Beta Beta 2002 – 2003

After a courageous fight against myocarditis, Erik passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on October 5, 2017.

Erik was at a wonderful and bright place in his life. He had goals in place and planned on following each one. We will forever miss his beautiful smile, witty humor and kind heart to all.

Erik was a true fan of the Dolphins and loved to play golf with his dad and enjoyed soccer. He was a wonderful son, brother and father.

Erik is survived by his parents, Tore and Nancy; his sister, Mary; and his two amazing children, Kyle and Rose. Extended family includes his paternal grandparents, Tore and Else Stornes, Sr.; his Aunt Jane, Tante Nina, Uncle Patrick, Aunt MaryAnn and Uncle Rob, Aunt Vivian and Uncle Roy and their two children, Bjorn and Sonja; as well as many relatives here and in Norway. Erik is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Patricia Vawter, along with his maternal uncle, John.

Erik pledged the Sigma Beta Tau Fraternity at Kean University in 2002, where he was an active and much loved brother. The Brotherhood of Sigma Beta Tau will greatly miss our departed brother.

Erik will be missed by all who knew him.
