James Anthony Reilly, 53, died Saturday (March 5, 2005) at his home. James was born in Plainfield and resided in North Plainfield.

He was a graduate of St. Joseph Elementary School, North Plainfield High School and Kean University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield.

Jim was a gifted athlete, musician, composer, carpenter and teacher.

He was a devoted husband and father, a loving son, the challenge and joy of his brother and sister, a ready and steadfast friend.

He had a lovely soul and a tender heart. He cannot and will never be forgotten.

James was predeceased by his father, the late Richard, who died in 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Martino Reilly; his son, Anthony Reilly; his daughter, Rebecca Reilly; his mother, Florence Hegarty Reilly of North Plainfield; his sister, Susan Spring (Richard); his brother, John Reilly of Toms River, his nephew and Church in North Plainfield. nieces, in-laws and friends.
