James William Edward Kent, 27, of Brick, NJ, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 in East Orange from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Lakewood and was a life-long resident of Brick. He graduated Brookdale Community College with an Associates Degree in architectural design. He was currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design at Kean University where he was a member of the Sigma Beta Tau Fraternity.
He was currently employed at Charlie Brown’s Restaurant in Scotch Plains. He was a member of the Church in Brielle where he was the Minister’s Youth Counselor, an Acolyte, a Choir member, and was a representative for “Project Timothy.” He was active in Scouting, an avid snowboarder, hiker, camper, fisherman, and played hockey. His family and friends meant the most to him and will remember his smiling face and living life to the fullest.
