Richard D. Jameison – Fidelity Life Insurance Head: at 53

A memorial  service will be held today for Richard D. Jameison Sr. of Norfolk, president of Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Co., who died Jan. 22 in Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, He was 53.

A native of Newark, he graduated from Kean College and earned a master’s degree in business administration at Rutgers University. He was director of marketing at Prudential Insurance Ca, and a vice president of Monarch Resources Inc. before joining Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Co. in 1988.

He leaves his wife, Patricia (Fachet); two sons, Richard D. Jr. of Boston and Robert L. of South Boston; and a sister, Nancy Hennessey of New Jersey.
