Vincent J. Fiorenza, 42, who was active in Hillsborough township’s Little League program, died Tuesday (June 25, 1991) at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
The flags at all Hillsborough baseball fields were flown at half staff yesterday in his honor.
Mr. Fiorenza was born in East Orange. He lived in Newark, Roselle and Piscataway before moving to Hillsborough in 1987.
A 1971 graduate of Newark State College, Mr. Fiorenza taught sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade science and social studies at Our Lady of Fatima School in Piscataway since 1988. He formerly taught at the Learning Center in Roselle far five years,
Mr. Fiorenza was an alternate on the board of directors of Hillsborough Little League and managed teams from 1988 until his death. He was a Pop Warner Midget coach in 1989.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila Fiorenza: two sons, Fred and Mike, both at home; and a daughter, Cindi, at home.
